Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Two Years Integrated Post Graduate Course from Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate; OR Master's Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in concerned subject. B.Ed degree is compulsory (except for PGT Computer Science).

Special / Additional Relaxations

All women candidates get a 10-year relaxation in upper age limit for NVS teaching positions.
Regular NVS employees have no upper age limit restriction for applications.
Candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989 get 5 years relaxation.
