General / UR: Upper age limit is 32 years as of August 1st of the exam year.

Special / Additional Relaxations

Candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir between January 1, 1980 and December 31, 1989 get 5 years relaxation.
Ex-servicemen including Commissioned Officers and ECOs/SSCOs who have rendered at least 5 years military service and have been released on medical grounds are eligible.
PwD candidates who are otherwise eligible for services identified suitable for them receive 10 years cumulative relaxation over their base category limit.
